Ignite Nebraska is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to lighting the way to life-changing careers. We upskill Nebraskans, connect them to employer partners who are actively hiring, and walk with them every step of the way. Every program is fully funded. The role is yours to earn.

Our Programs
Four programs. One mission.
All programs are free to participants — funded entirely through foundations, corporate sponsors, and individual donors. When you apply, you submit a general application and we help find the right fit.
Builds professional confidence, workplace soft skills, and technical foundations. Graduates are interview-ready for entry-level roles — and may advance to Ignite Tech, Ignite Health, or Ignite Works based on fit and availability.
Avg starting salary: $35–42K
A paid IT apprenticeship combining on-the-job training with classroom education at Bellevue University. Coursework is credit-transferable toward a Computer Science degree.
Avg starting salary: $41–55K · Paid during training
Healthcare certification pathways building the real-world soft and technical skills needed to thrive in a modern healthcare workplace. Training in Nebraska.
Avg starting salary: $38–44K
A future pathway with paid on-the-job training focused on trade apprenticeships and public works — providing access to skilled trades, construction, public utilities, and facilities roles.
